Birmingham travelled to Goodison Park to play Everton last time out on the back of five straight Premier League wins. They couldn’t make it six though as they were held to a 1-1 draw. Despite this though, the Blues are still unbeaten in their last nine league games and have slowly climbed up to seventh in the league table with 28 points to their name.
Despite the point at Goodison last Saturday, Birmingham didn’t play too well and were quite lucky to escape without a defeat. Nevertheless, fortuitous or not, the fact remains that Birmingham are unbeaten for over two months in the league and are a force to be reckoned with; Chelsea will not find it easy going come Boxing Day.
