Bolton Wanderers take on Hull City at the Reebok Stadium this coming Tuesday evening for an English Premier League fixture both teams are desperate to win. Prior to the game on Tuesday though, both teams have a weekend fixture to get out of the way; Bolton travel to Wigan while Hull host Manchester United. Despite beating West Ham last time out, Bolton remain in the relegation zone with sixteen points. Prior to the West Ham victory though, Gary Megson’s side went six league games without a victory and in fact went through a run of one win in nine league games. At home this season Bolton have only managed to win two games from the nine played, drawing three and losing the other four of them. A win against Hull City on Tuesday evening could, depending on weekend results as well, see them escape from the relegation zone for the time being.
Phil Brown’s Hull City side have not won in four league games. The manager has seen his side plummet down the league table and they now sit in seventeenth position with seventeen points, just one place and one point above the relegation zone.
Before the weekend fixtures, Hull travelled to the Emirates Stadium to face Arsenal and lost the game by three goals to nil.
