Fulham are having a very good season by their standard so far this season and are not only doing well in the league, but have also progressed to play European football after Christmas in the Europa League as well. The team, especially at home, have achieved some great results, beating Liverpool and Manchester United comprehensively, as well as taking points of high flying Spurs at the weekend.
Fulham are currently ninth in the Premier League table with 27 points, but they have one game less than the teams around them. They have played ten games so far this season at Craven Cottage and have recorded six victories, two draws and two defeats. But most impressively of all, bearing in mind the size of the squad available to Roy Hodgson, Fulham have progressed into the Round of 32 in the Europa League, guaranteeing European football at Craven Cottage after the Christmas period.
On Saturday the team entertained Harry Redknapp’s Tottenham side at Craven Cottage and despite the best efforts of both teams the game ended in a 0-0 stalemate. The result though, proved Fulham’s home pedigree against the Premier League’s top teams.
League One side Swindon Town travels to London for their game against Fulham on the back of a 2-2 away draw at Charlton Athletic in their League One fixture at the weekend. They are currently seventh in the League One standings and have 35 points.
